1. Roles
When you store your customers' personal data in Selfeey — contacts, conversations, call recordings, invoices — your business decides why and how it is used (you are the data fiduciary) and we process it on your instructions (we are your data processor). This addendum forms part of the Terms of Service.
2. What we commit to
- process your customers' data only to run the service for you and as you instruct through the product;
- keep it confidential and limit access to people who need it to run or support the service;
- protect it with the measures on our Security & Compliance page;
- use other providers only to deliver the service — hosting, messaging, calling, payments, AI — and hold them to protections at least as strong;
- help you respond to requests from your customers who exercise their rights;
- tell you without undue delay if we become aware of a breach affecting your data;
- delete or return the data when you close your account, except what the law requires us to keep.
3. What you commit to
You have a lawful basis — usually consent — for the data you put into Selfeey and the messages and calls you send, and you give your customers the notices the law requires, including the call-recording notice and the AI disclosure where they apply.
