Sending spam, phishing attempts, or engaging in fraudulent activities
Harassment & Threats
Harassment, threats, or abusive communications directed at users or staff
IP Infringement
Intellectual property infringement or illegal content distribution

Circumventing security measures or platform restrictions
1. PURPOSE
To maintain a safe, secure, and compliant environment by prohibiting unauthorized, illegal, or harmful activities on Selfeey platforms.
2. SCOPE
Applies to all users, content, communications, and interactions on Selfeey systems.
3. PROHIBITED ACTIVITIES
The following activities are strictly prohibited on Selfeey platforms:
- Hacking, malware distribution, or unauthorized access
- Spamming, phishing, or fraudulent activities
- Harassment, threats, or abusive communications
- Intellectual property infringement or illegal content distribution
- Circumventing security measures or platform restrictions
4. REPORTING ABUSE
Users can report abuse through multiple channels. All reports are treated confidentially and investigated promptly.

5. INVESTIGATION & ENFORCEMENT
Investigation Process
Abuse incidents are investigated by the ISO/Security team following a structured process:
- Receipt and acknowledgment of abuse report
- Evidence collection and preservation
- Analysis of the alleged violation
- Determination of appropriate action
- Documentation of findings and actions taken
Enforcement Actions
Violations may result in the following enforcement actions:
- • Formal warnings to the violating user or account
- • Temporary suspension of account or access privileges
- • Permanent termination of account
- • Legal action and pursuit of damages
- • Reporting to law enforcement authorities
- • IP address or payment method bans
Corrective measures are documented and communicated as required by policy and applicable regulations.
6. THIRD-PARTY & VENDOR COMPLIANCE
Vendors and partners must comply with Selfeey abuse standards and policies.
- All vendor contracts include clauses for prohibited activities and enforcement
- Third-party integrations must adhere to Selfeey security and abuse policies
- Non-compliance may result in contract termination
- Regular audits conducted to ensure vendor compliance
7. POLICY REVIEW & AMENDMENTS
This Abuse Policy is subject to regular review and updates:
- Policy reviewed annually or upon significant changes in regulations or business operations
- Updates approved by the Board of Directors
- Changes communicated to all stakeholders through appropriate channels
- Continued use of Selfeey services after policy updates constitutes acceptance
8. GOVERNING LAW & JURISDICTION
This Abuse Policy is governed by the laws of India. Courts of competent jurisdiction in India have exclusive authority over all disputes arising from or relating to this policy.
